(i) Kalam describes his father as a man of great innate wisdom and true generosity, despite lacking formal education or wealth.
(ii) He describes his mother as a kind-hearted woman and an ideal helpmate to his father.
(iii) He describes himself as a short boy with undistinguished looks, born to tall and handsome parents.
2. What characteristics does he say he inherited from his parents?
Ans: Kalam says that he inherited honesty and self-discipline from his father. From his mother, he inherited deep kindness and a strong faith in goodness.
