Answer
A neuron looks like a cell with a central body and long, thin hair-like parts arising from it. It consists of a cell body with a nucleus and cytoplasm. From the cell body, a single long part called the axon and many short, branched parts called dendrites arise. An individual nerve cell may be up to a meter long.
